We had such a wonderful time at Printed Matter’s New York Art Book Fair! 📚

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, picked up a copy of Volume 06: Neo-Carib Visions, and shared conversation with us. It was powerful to connect with so many artists, readers, and supporters interested in Caribbean art and the diaspora.

Printed Matter continues to be a gathering point where ideas and communities come alive on the page. We’re grateful to have been part of it this year and are excited to carry that energy into the launch of Volume 07: Poetics of Architecture later this month.

Sweet Blood by Camille Simone Thomas

Volume 07 contributor Camille Simone Thomas, a Detroit-born Jamaican-American playwright, developed Sweetblood during her JACK residency. Set in 1727 Jamaica, the play follows three free Afro-Taíno Maroon sisters confronting love, land, and liberation amid British invasion and the sugar revolution.
