The Caribbean in Focus with Khendrick Beausoleil at The Armory Show

Thursday we're on the floor with Khendrick Beausoleil (@kblikesart), speaking with the artists, gallerists, and curators behind the work.
The fair's Focus section turns to the Caribbean this year: eighteen galleries spanning the region and its diasporas, curated by María Elena Ortiz of the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. Solo and dual-artist presentations, organized around the Caribbean as a meeting point rather than a margin. The Platform section, curated by Jovanna Venegas of SculptureCenter, leans the same way, with large-scale installations across the floor.
It's the first time the fair has organized a curated section around the Caribbean at this scale.
